Czech musician MikAel will present the conceptually and genre diverse new album "Focus" live with his band at a special Release Party. The event will be combined with an exhibition of his own paintings and will take place on October 9, 2024 in Prague, just two days before the official worldwide digital release. Four years of studio and concert work, several guests from the Czech Republic and abroad, and several successful radio singles such as "Alone Together" and the current hit "Take A Chance". The new compilation of the singer, composer, and painter MikAel can be briefly summarized. He has conceptually linked his latest release "Focus" with his visual art. He personally drew and designed the entire album booklet and enriched its content with photographs of his large abstract paintings, which correspond with the music on the album. The musician notes, "I dedicated one of my paintings to each song, and one of my songs to each painting. I embedded several hidden messages in each painting, which also contain the song lyrics. Mostly , they are various motivational messages or colors that emotionally intertwine with my songs. Everyone can find something there because the images and the whole album are very diverse. Genre-wise, we move at the border of electronic music, pop, and electro-rock."
New album coming out on October 11th, 2024 at Musicraft. There will be a limited edition with a book of images, it will be released two days earlier. Besides the ceremonial launch with special guests, MikAel has also prepared a special sales exhibition and a concert in the unique space of the Meat Beer studio in the heart of Prague.
„During this special evening, I will release my new album "Focus" to the world. At the same time, I would also like to release all of my paintings for sale, with all proceeds going to the LuckyBe charity fund under the patronage of my friend Lucky Borhyová, who will be hosting the special evening. Her organization supports premature babies, and that is something I strongly believe in," explains MikAel.
On the album, musician worked with producer Luděk Fiala, renowned and successful producer Karel Havlíček, and singer Tonya Graves.
