MikAel, a fresh Czech music project known for its synth-pop and sophisticated electronics, is set to release its second album this year. The first album, titled "Easy" and released in 2019, produced several hits and garnered attention from both the public and professional critics.

MikAel is currently finalizing the production of his second album, which he co-wrote and produced. The album features collaborations with several Czech and international artists. MikAel has already unveiled several songs from the upcoming album, including the successful radio ballad "Alone Together". Now MikAel is releasing a dynamic and "summer-feeling" new single, "Take a Chance," with a simple lyric video.

"Take a Chance" is a song that often starts to play in your mind in the early morning hours, just as you are waking up. By the time you sit down

for breakfast, the song is nearly complete. I wrote the lyrics for the song within a single day. While it might seem like it's about a romantic relationship at first, it actually delves into a personal journey with one's own health issue, focusing on anxiety. It tells the story of someone trying to make peace with their anxiety, accepting it as part of themselves, and learning to love themselves fully despite it. The video for the song, which is quite straightforward, serves as a reflection of how the song itself came to be.

The upcoming album, titled "Focus", is scheduled for release later this month and will include a total of 12 songs, including a duet. In addition to worldwide digital distribution, the album will also be available in classic CD format, flash drives, and special collector's edition books featuring MikAel's own artwork.
